The Hon Clare Hambro
Clare joined Hambros in 1979 and held a number of positions within the various Divisions of the Bank, including Commercial Banking and predominantly Corporate Finance. From 1985 to 1987 she was transferred to Hambro (Australia) to complement its domestic corporate finance activities. Upon her return to London, she re- joined the Corporate Finance Division, with responsibility for Northern European mergers and acquisitions. In 1989 she joined the Panel on Takeovers and Mergers in London (the “Take Over Panel”) as part of its executive team on a two-year secondment. Clare Hambro has wide experience in corporate finance transactions, both within in the European, Scandinavian and Pacific markets. She is a non-executive Director and shareholder.

When she is not a Merchant Banker or involved with politics, Clare enjoys country pursuits and cooking at her family home, Dumbleton.
